Beekeeper Visit
We are very fortunate to have our very own beekeeper here at Warkworth School. We invited Mrs Montrose (Community 1) to talk to us about the role of the beekeeper and the very important job bees have on our environment.
We looked at a beekeeper protective outfit that is worn to protect beekeepers from bee stings, a bee smoker to calm the bees, wasp traps, bee wax products such as candles and bee wax wraps, and we got to try some honey...mmmmmm!
The painting of our little libraries have begun...

Congratulations to our certificate recipients for this week, Jamie, Izzy, Lucas, Harry, Chloe, Scarlett, Mason and Boston. Very well deserved...tino pai rawa!
