Here is a video of us learning about bees at the honey centre! We were so lucky because we got to see the queen bee laying her eggs!

Collecting Pollen!
We were collecting and transferring pollen last week by eating twisties! What a yummy way to learn about how bees collect their pollen. The students were eating the twisties and the cheese powder on their fingers was the 'pollen'. We then touched something to see how the 'pollen' is transferred on to other things.
